The company was founded in 2018 by passionate and experienced experts in the travel and tourism management field, to offer the best quality travel services to our customers.

The core business of Al Haqq Tours and Travel is providing various tour and travel services through a network of partners and an online platform that serves consumers via the business to consumer channels. We provide multiple products and services, including flights, hotels, cruises, train trips, and ground transportation. It also provides targeted packages designed to fit all markets and the travel culture preferences.

Challenge

As a company aiming to expand its customer base and also automate some of its services to the clients, the task at hand was to develop a fully responsive, tours and travel website that could handle receipt of visitor applications, process them on the fly to produce PDFs and also store that information in a database to further the company’s business intelligence and analysis wing. The website was to create an engaging online presence, advertise the company and its services to the outside world, well secured and easily upgradeable for easy integration of new company travel packages and services. In addition to that, the client desired that the project be finished in one month.

Approach

Our approach was to first collect relevant project information from which we were able to define the project at hand satisfactorily. Such information included; brand colors, company values, mission, vision, photos, services, reasons for the site’s existence  etc. This resulted in a project definition document. The website was intended to be responsive, with only about five pages – home, about, services, blog and lastly the contact page. We then created a basic a site map of how all the pages of the website would fit together, the home page being the root. What followed was creating site layout sketches and wire frame diagrams from which we designed the site theme, according to the company’s brand colors. We also created mobile and desktop UI designs of the front page, which usually gives the overarching theme of the site. We then followed this, with marking up, styling the site pages and then adding the desired backend business logic of processing visa applications and storing visa information in a well designed MySQL database.

Results

The result was a social media integrated, responsive, business website that would adapt to most devices screens with some of these main features:
